ARTIST PROJECT: MODEL CALL!

New for 2022!

Stephen will be starting his beloved artist series again.  The theme of this project is strength and power.  This year his focus will be on gymnastics.  He is looking for a female early high school gymnast. This is a project just for Stephen to grow his creativity. 

Stephen will have two end goals with this project.  The first will be to put together a book for sale with selected images from this project. The second will be to print a selection for a gallery display.  There is no cost to the family and no obligation; however, if you have interest in the art that is created Stephen can set up a reveal session for purchases at 20% off studio pricing.

Please tell your family and friends to contact the studio by email with candid images of their athlete.  Selections will begin February 19th.
 

SENIOR PORTRAITS
 

Spring sessions are booking up fast, Anne Springs close Greenway will be in bloom soon with spring around the corner.  This February book your spring session for March and April and receive a $400 credit toward your session.  This can only be used by past clients of Stephen’s.

PORTRAIT Q & A

Q: What is your sitting fee? What does an 8x10 cost?

A: "I am in the business of telling family stories and capturing memories that last for generations.  We value family and love learning about each member in the family, what makes them special and how we can best serve that family.  The cost of the 8x10 or session is not the answer.  We answer that questions by pointing out the value we bring with the quality of work and service we provide.

95% of people when asked what they would grab on the way out the door if their home was on fire, given the opportunity (besides family members and pets).  The answer?  Their family portraits and precious memories of family members are no longer with them.

We provide a service unlike any other and I take that responsibility seriously.   We are honored you have chosen us in the past for your memories," shares Stephen.

This February book your spring session for March or April and receive a $400 credit toward your session.  The session must be booked in the month of February.  This is an exclusive offer for Stephen Dey Signature Portrait families.

PERSONAL BRANDING FOR ENTREPRENEURS

Stephen has developed a new strategy for creating images for personal branding that is suited perfectly for the entrepreneurs. CLIENT SPOTLIGHT
 

Stephen's client, Marvin Williams Sr., wrote a book called Secondary Break: An NBA Dad’s story.

This book is about a young man who came from a dysfunctional and abusive family and fell in love with the sport of basketball.  His love and passion for the game would take him on a lifelong journey, a journey of disappointments, setbacks, and finally triumph.  This book will show how, by continuing to follow your passions and dreams, anything can be possible.

Stephen shares, "Mr. Williams and I have developed a good friendship.  We share a great deal of common values and approaches when it comes to parenting.  This world is hard enough to navigate as an adult.  Imagine doing this as a child with no father.  His book will outline the importance of a father figure in his son’s life.  I truly have enjoyed getting to know him and working with him over the past year."

IMAGING USA: NATIONAL CONVENTION FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS
 

Imaging USA is the largest organization for professional photographers in the world.  This event took place at the Gaylord National Harbor January 14th to the 19th.

Stephen shares, "Each year this event provides me with great learning opportunities, networking with other photographers and market trends.  This year's event was full of great speakers and a large trade show.  Some notable companies were missing because of Covid.  The staff and volunteers did an amazing job keeping us all safe while on site.  My roommate for the week was my close friend Dave Mulvaney.  Dave and I spent the day Saturday in DC walking the national monuments and a visit to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.  We made it a point to visit the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial since we would celebrate his day that following Monday." 
 

FAMILY FESTIVITES
Each year Stephen produces a family calendar and distributes at the New Year.  Family is the focus, as always with Stephen!
